On Sunday August 12th the Welcome Home Addiction Recovery Academy is holding it’s second annual Run For Recovery, a 5 and 10 K run that aims to raise awareness of their cause. As you may know Welcome Home is the charity behind my favourite store in the world, Price Pro, and that is where the run begins. The 5K run is $30 ($25 if you sign up by June 10th) and the 10K is $40 ($35 before the 10th). For your fee you get an event T-shirt, a race kit, an entry into a prize draw and the good karma that comes with supporting this worthy cause.

The run starts at 9am followed by a community festival from 11-3 where there will be live bands, door prizes, a BBQ food truck, face painting, and a bouncy castle.
